Privacy policy

We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains what data we process when you use this website, on what legal basis, and what rights you have. Unless stated otherwise, processing is carried out in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

Clara Lohmann
Blücherstr. 55
10961 Berlin
Germany

Email: clara@bewegungskollektiv.de. Full contact details are in the legal notice.

2. Hosting, server log files, and web analytics

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. When you visit the site, the host automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the site (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Data may be processed on servers in the USA on the basis of standard contractual clauses.

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Referrer URL
  • IP address (shortened/anonymised where possible)
  • Date and time of the request

For audience measurement we use Vercel Web Analytics, a service of Vercel Inc. It records anonymised usage data (e.g. pages visited, approximate country-level location, and device and browser type) without cookies and without cross-site tracking; no personal user profiles are created. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a privacy-friendly statistical analysis of website usage (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

3. Database and media storage

Content and account data are stored in a PostgreSQL database provided by Neon, and media files are stored via Vercel Blob. These are used solely to operate the website and the member area (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR).

4. Cookies

We use only cookies that are technically necessary to operate the site and to keep you signed in to the member area. These do not require consent (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Where embedded third-party services set their own cookies, we request your consent before loading them (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR).

5. Contact and coaching enquiries

If you contact us by email or submit a coaching application via Google Forms, we process the data you provide in order to respond to your request. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR).

6. Newsletter

Our newsletter and waitlist are operated via Flodesk using a double opt-in process: you receive a confirmation email and are only subscribed after you confirm. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email.

7. Embedded and third-party services

Some pages embed or link to third-party services. When you interact with them, the respective provider may process your data under its own privacy policy:

  • Vimeo — video recordings in the member area
  • Calendly — booking of 1:1 sessions
  • Eversports — class booking
  • Google Forms — coaching application

8. Member area

If you have a member account, we store your name, email address, programme enrolment, and a session cookie to keep you signed in. Password-reset emails are sent via Resend. This processing is necessary to provide the member area (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).

9. Storage period

We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described here or as required by statutory retention periods. Once the purpose no longer applies, the data is deleted.

10. SSL/TLS encryption

This site uses SSL/TLS encryption for security. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” prefix and the lock icon in your browser’s address bar.

11. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15)
  • have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16)
  • request erasure (Art. 17)
  • request restriction of processing (Art. 18)
  • data portability (Art. 20)
  • object to processing (Art. 21)
  • withdraw consent at any time with future effect

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in the legal notice.

12. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state of your residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.
